The Town of Kadena wishes to learn from our forefather Noguni Sokan,
regarded as one of the three greatest benefactors of the Ryukyus, his internationalism
and pioneer spirit which are qualities necessary for living in modern times.
We have chosen Noguni Sokan as our town symbol, with a vision of development
of human resources and stimulation of the town of Kadena in the 21st century
